我第一次听到这个歌 是我在酒吧一起唱过的朋友说要录这个歌
让我帮和声下
感觉不错 后来就买了这张CD
听起来很舒服
这张Life In Cartoon Motion反响也非常好
虽然是2007年的。

这位黎巴嫩裔的歌手已经让无数人开始用许久不见的字眼来形容他的嗓音，不过把他的狂放的演唱比作Freddie Mercury我看也不是很过分。他的首支单曲已经在冠军位置上待了三个礼拜了，无论是不是打破四周的纪录，Mika都已经证明他是近年来最成功的新人，也是两年失误之后，BBC预测正确的明日之星。Mika的这张Life in Cartoon Motion已经不完全是一张专辑了，他是一张masterpiece，每首歌曲都充满了Mika的个人魅力，就是今年年底才发行这张专辑，我也觉得等待完全值得。Grace Kelly的确让人想起Queen的许多音乐，那种史诗般的感觉，那种真正活在音乐中的个性，Mika的演唱是无与伦比的，更无与伦比的是这张专辑的音乐，在Grace Kelly之后的第二首单曲还是同样歌剧般的歌曲Love Today，也许不是第二首单曲的最佳选择，不过Mika的演唱要来的比Grace Kelly更加大胆，假声的演唱都胜过了Scissor Sisters，实际上，歌迷们比较喜欢的还是另外一首歌曲，他是专辑中最佳，最与众不同，最有力量的作品，那就是Relax, Take It Easy。想象一下当年Scissor Sisters走红的歌曲Comfortably Numb，Relax, Take It Easy是一首原创的Comfortably Numb，虽然不是专辑的第二单曲，单曲已经出现了英国下载排行榜上了，放下了华丽的外衣的是My Interpretation，Daniel Powter一般的抒情歌曲，没有美轮美奂的假声，没有复杂的电子，有的只是比较真诚的原来的Mika，Lollipop则更加像是一首音乐剧的歌曲，中速的节奏，catchy的旋律，咬字有特别的清晰，Mika的音乐从某种意义上说是一种做秀，他把一切能够的元素都运用起来，比如在Any Other World中，弦乐让你的心跳加速，而歌曲的环境又像是Mad World一般的黑暗，结尾的Happy Ending同样不容错过。

Despite the endless comparisons with the likes of Freddie Mercury and the Scissor Sisters due to his falsetto moments (and there are quite a few of them here), what becomes apparent when listening to Life In Cartoon Motion, is that Mika is very much his own person. Yes - the influences are clearly there, but there isn't a hint of an adopted sound or a stolen style anywhere - Mika is Mika, and that's all there is to it.

Born in Beirut and having come to London via Paris, Mika is not only quirky in sound but also in background and style - in person he is kooky but instantly loveable, rather like his tunes.

First single "Grace Kelly" is a great pop song - it's catchy, you can't help singing along and it grates on you after a few days when you can't get it out of your head but you still go back for more - flawless credentials.

"Love Today" is another winner - truly funky disco-pop that has you shoulder-shimmying non-stop, and even though you hate yourself for enjoying it, you simply can't stop yourself having a great time whilst you listen.

At the other end of the spectrum, "Any Other World" is a gently rousing ballad that wouldn't be out of place at the emotional zenith of an Andrew Lloyd-Webber musical - big cellos and lots of female 'aaaahs' supporting Mika's soft, warm tones.

After this, the album heads back up a notch, back to what Mika does best - upbeat, poppy, all-singing, all-dancing, big-band tracks with "Big Girl (You Are Beautiful)" and "Stuck In The Middle", before finishing with the lovely, piano-led "Happy Ending".

There's no doubt about it - Mika has a lovely voice and is a great musician. What’s more you feel that this album is exactly the way he intended it to be. He is in no way just another product of music industry bigwigs sitting around trying to come up with a new concept for a singer, but someone who is unique, true to himself and not afraid to show it.

　　Mika，原名Mica Penniman 1983年8月18日生于黎巴嫩首都贝鲁特一个美黎联姻的家庭（他的父亲是美国人，母亲是黎巴嫩人）。幼年时期随着家人辗转巴黎，他9岁时，全家才在伦敦定居下来。

　　年幼的Mika喜欢音乐，喜欢在歌曲中说故事。对音乐的爱好，加上他在皇家音乐学院（Royal College of Music）受到的专业训练，让他刚刚露脸就顶着了音乐天才的光环。2006年9月，Mika在BBC Radio 1崭露头角，旋即，在BBC网站的2007年度之声{-屏-|-蔽-}调查中，他获得的选票最多。

　　在mika成为主流歌唱演员之前，他曾经帮别人编写口香糖广告短歌

　　童年：因为战乱，mika一家不得不在mika十分小的时候带他逃离黎巴嫩，经过了那段充满迷惑和巨变的时光，mika变得十分内向，9岁时曾一度辍学，也正是从那时起他选择了音乐来给予他庇护。

　　MIKA这张专辑虽然很好的表达了他自己的风格，但歌曲过于追求整体形势，电音流行舞曲占了绝大部分，并且每首歌都在展示自己的假声（但他的声线真的很有特色，确实与BLUNT有些相似）
　　这和专辑的名称<Life In Cartoon Motion>非常符合，但难免又落入了过于流行的俗套
　　首波主打Grace Kelly感觉上并非真的配得上现实取得成就，到是第2首lollipop很能突出风格
　　整张专辑的亮点应该是<My Interpretation>、<Billy Brown>、<Any Other World>和<Stuck In the Middle>，相较其他伴奏过于强烈的歌曲，这4首更能展现MIKA本身那种细腻的声线
　　<My Interpretation>在专辑封面上的评价说的很好：犹如走在初春的大街上，享受迎面吹来和煦微风的自在。
　　<Billy Brown>和<Stuck in the Middle>在轻快的钢琴弹跳下把MIKA的童趣与幽默衬托得淋漓尽致；<Any Other World>在由简单琴韵和弦乐的组合中，又体现出了一种与专辑内其他舞曲不同的迷幻感；作为整张CD的结尾，<Happy Ending>在把MIKA的歌曲推入高潮的同时，很好的给了他一个完美的终止，无论是他单独的吟唱还是与众人和和声，都是这张<Life In Cartoon Motion>中最值得关注的。
