亚历山德罗夫重返俄罗斯

IG just reported that ALEXANDROV will be leaving the US to return to Russia and work with their gymnastics program again. Boginskya said she thinks he will restore the respect that the athletes had for their coaches during the USSR. What do you think? Will this really happen or is it another case like Romania where too much has changed and you can't bring back the past? What effect will this have on RUssian gym?

Well, it's impossible to say how he will do, it's a long time since he was in charge of the Soviet team, and of course so much has changed.
I saw him working with the Soviet girls, and he was a fantastic coach doing a fantastic job. He did of course have an amazing team of coaches around him, great facilities, funding, medical staff and sports science information that the rest of the world at the time were'n't as tuned into as they are today.
Also of course the pick of the Soviet Union's gymnasts to work with at a time when being a national squad athlete was as good as it gets in terms of personal and family reward for many young Soviet children.

I always have loved the Russian gymnasts, so I hope he can have a huge effect. I wonder what this means for Rodinenko though, he seemed to be heading the team in the right direction. No the Olympic results weren't there, but I felt that he was making improvements that would show in the next couple of quads.

Should be interesting to watch.

北京时间11月13日消息，前苏联著名体操教练亚历山德罗夫在美国居住15年后，决定回到家乡俄罗斯执教。

　　当地时间本周三，亚历山德罗夫的前弟子著名体操女将博金斯卡娅宣布了这一消息，而亚历山德罗夫此举无疑会推动已经衰落的俄罗斯体操的整体发展。博金斯卡娅说：“他的回归会需要一些时间，他是一个伟大的教练和强大的领导者。”

　　亚历山德罗夫曾是前苏联传奇选手比洛泽尔采夫的个人教练，1983年年仅16岁的比洛泽尔采夫就赢得了世锦赛男子全能冠军，在88年汉城奥运会中比洛泽尔采夫独得三金。1989年1月，亚历山德罗夫开始执教前苏联女队，结果他带领前苏联女队一统天下，先后赢得1989年和1991年两届世锦赛团体金牌和1992年奥运会团体金牌。

　　随后1993年亚历山德罗夫移居美国，在得州的几家俱乐部执教。1996年亚特兰大奥运会大放异彩的体操公主多米尼克-摩西奥努和2004年雅典奥运会女子全能金牌得主帕特森都曾拜于他的门下。

　　博金斯卡娅非常欢迎昔日恩师的回归，在北京奥运会中俄罗斯女子体操仅获得团体第四名，没有赢得任何一枚个人奖牌。她说：“首先亚历山德罗夫的工作就是要挑选国家队选手组成自己的教练班子，找回选手和教练间应有的纪律和尊重。当然这并不容易，但是他毕竟曾经在那里呆过，而且他知道如何把她们带回巅峰。”
                                                                                                         

GW另有消息称阿卡耶夫也将回到俄罗斯执教，不过目前尚未得到证实。

这是什么意思？确定是阿卡耶夫重回俄罗斯么？看得我稀里糊涂的。。。

俄罗斯和乌克兰应该会在不知不觉中复苏, 再次崛起看来也只是时间问题。毕竟根基是很牢固的!:victory:

苏联解体后俄罗斯外流的教练人才太多了
如果这些人能留下，俄罗斯体育也至少不会出现现在这么明显的疲软
