26岁的前国家队替补二传接受Fit Village网站专访，谈了自己的方方面面。其中最引人注意的莫过于敏感的国家队。

她回溯了自己在2007世界杯上的精彩表现——作为主力二传连续3：0攻克古巴、巴西和美国。同时谈到了引起轩然大波的自传《金发天使》（A blonde angel）。据Firebrands以前的帖子表示， Ferretti在书中表示Barbolini在08京奥1/4决赛时应该派自己上场，可是她没能出场一分钟，最后队伍遗憾告别。

采访中她说：“这本书里有些语句就像在我和国家队之间捅了一个马蜂窝。我不想和谁论战，我只想安静谦逊，不想在聚光灯下。还好我没参与篮球和足球。”

L’abbiamo intervistata al Fit Village, tra un allenamento e l’altro, dove da un gioco di domande è emersa una Francesca davvero curiosa e inedita.
A come amicizia. “Un valore fondamentale – attacca Francesca – anche se è stata dura andare via di casa presto e a Reggio ho mantenuto soltanto tre o quattro rapporti stretti. Nell’ambiente sportivo la vera amicizia non esiste, perché si cambia squadra, non ci si vede per tanto. Resto legata a Isabella Zilio in Nazionale, Diana Marc conosciuta a Modena (A1), Senna Usic e Martina Guiggi attuali compagne di squadra a Pesaro. Ma curiosamente mi sono sempre trovata meglio con gli uomini che con le donne”.
B come basket. “Uno sport che adoro e che ho potuto conoscere di più grazie al mio fidanzato (il reggiano Simone Cortesi, in questi giorni aggregato alla Trenkwalder, ndr). A Pesaro si vive di basket e se posso non mi perdo una partita. Il mio sogno? Vedere una gara NBA dal vivo”.
C come conferma. “Credo che in Italia confermarsi sia ancor più difficile che vincere. Se vinci sei un Dio in terra, ma basta qualche sconfitta per farti piombare nell’occhio del ciclone. In nessun’altra Nazione vedo una tale pressione mediatica. Io faccio prima, non leggo più i giornali”.
D come Del Piero. “Non seguo particolarmente il calcio, ma l’ho sempre ammirato sia come atleta che come persona. Non sentirete mai parlare di lui per il gossip, ma soltanto per quello che fa in campo”.
E come Europa. “Ho vinto gli Europei 2007, ma darei qualsiasi cosa per la Champions perché è l’ultimo trofeo che mi manca con la maglia di Pesaro”.
F come Fit Village. “Una palestra che ho sempre sentito un po’ mia, anche perché è a due passi da casa e Simone viene qui con la Pallacanestro Reggiana, quindi capita che ci alleniamo insieme”.
G come genitori. “I miei sono stati fondamentali, sempre vicini in ogni scelta. Hanno la collezione registrata di tutte le mie partite e soffrono più di me, insieme a Puffa, la mia adorata cagnolina”.
H come hotel. “Da quando ho 14 anni tra trasferte e ritiri ne ho visti veramente di tutti i colori. Ormai li odio”.
I come infortunio. “A dicembre 2005, quando giocavo a Chieri in serie A1, mi sono rotta legamenti e cartilagini del ginocchio destro, avevo 21 anni e la carriera a rischio. Sono stata lontana dai campi 8 mesi e la riabilitazione è stata molto tosta, ci ho messo più di un anno a ritrovare la forma fisica e superare le paure. E’ un’esperienza che mi ha insegnato molto, da fuori ho capito che ogni piccola cosa è superabile”.
J come Jesi. “Il suo fallimento è un brutto segno per tutta la pallavolo italiana. Ogni anno ci sono società che non ce la fanno e capisco chi sceglie l’estero per la sicurezza dello stipendio. Purtroppo anche la Pallavolo Reggio ha avuto gli stessi problemi, quest’anno è retrocessa in B2 ma spero riuscirà ad iscriversi”.
K come Kobe. “Stravedo per Bryant perché lo sento un po’ reggiano e sono contenta per la vittoria dei suoi Lakers. L’ho incontrato a Pechino e ha esclamato: “Grande! Una reggioemiliana!”. Non gli ho detto che si dice “reggiana” – ride Francesca – ma vi assicuro che parla benissimo l’italiano ed è simpaticissimo”.
L come libro. “E’ uscita una mia autobiografia (“Un Angelo Biondo, Francy Ferretti”, ndr), ma non so se la rifarei perché alcune frasi hanno fatto scoppiare un vespaio tra me e la Nazionale. Non sono una che cerca la polemica, sono umile e tranquilla, non amo stare sotto i riflettori e per questo ringrazio di non essere nel mondo del calcio o del basket”.
M come Mondiali. “Ho vinto la Coppa del Mondo 2007 partendo dalla panchina, ma dopo l’infortunio di Eleonora Lo Bianco giocai tutte le sfide decisive da titolare con Cuba, Brasile e Stati Uniti. Avevo saputo di giocare proprio all’ultimo, per fortuna andò bene e contro Cuba venni nominata Mvp. Un pronostico su questi Mondiali? Nel calcio dico Spagna o Argentina, nel basket tifo Spagna, ma gli States restano forti nonostante l’assenza dei big, nel volley maschile Stati Uniti favoriti, ma l’Italia giocando in casa potrà dire la sua”.
N come Nazionale. “Si sa che ogni allenatore fa le sue scelte e queste vanno rispettate, basta pensare a Lippi con Cassano – Francesca fa riferimento alle mancante convocazioni in azzurro del ct Massimo Barbolini –. A Pesaro mi sento più protagonista, in Nazionale ho sempre sentito le vittorie meno mie. In ogni caso sono tranquilla, ho 26 anni e il discorso azzurro non lo considero chiuso per niente, anzi ci penso e come”.

O come Olimpiade. “Ho partecipato ad Atene 2004 e Pechino 2008, in entrambi i casi siamo arrivate quinte, in Cina con molti rammarichi. Ad Atene per me era già un sogno essere arrivata lì a 20 anni. Alla cerimonia di apertura ho avuto i brividi, facevo foto e giravo il villaggio olimpico come fosse il Paese dei balocchi: puoi trovarti allo stesso tavolo con star NBA o fenomeni come Bolt”.
P come palasport. “So che a Reggio tutti parlano del nuovo pala e se lo dicono in tanti un motivo ci sarà. A me però il PalaBigi piace tantissimo: è raccolto, caldo, e trasuda storia. Anche a Pesaro abbiamo problemi: il BPA Palace è splendido ma ci giochiamo solo le finali, di solito siamo al PalaCampanara anche se ci accontenteremmo del palasport di viale dei Partigiani. A volte ci sembra di giocare in trasferta”.
Q come “quasi”. “La finale di Coppia Italia 2007-08 contro Bergamo… eravamo avanti 14-11 al tie-break, abbiamo perso 17-15. In pratica è come vincere 2-0 a calcio e subire 3 gol negli ultimi 5 minuti. Era la mia prima finale di Coppa Italia ed è stato un incubo, ma ci siamo rifatte vincendo l’anno dopo”.
R come Reggio. “Per me è fantastica, rimane e rimarrà sempre la mia città, le manca solo il mare poi sarebbe perfetta! Vorrei viverci di più, ogni volta che torno trovo qualcosa di nuovo, è incredibile come sta cambiando velocemente”.
S come Scudetto. “Il più bello è sicuramente quello del 2007-08, perché il primo non si scorda mai ed era inaspettato. Il secondo è stato lo Scudetto della conferma, quello di quest’anno è lo Scudetto di chi non ci credeva, perché molti davano favorita Villa Cortese, invece abbiamo stupito tutti col 3-0 in finale”.
T come trionfi rosa. “E’ vero, questo è un momento tutto al femmine, ma forse nasce dal pregiudizio che siamo meno forti degli uomini. Torneranno anche loro, vedi Manassero nel golf che sembra un fenomeno”.
U come unione. “Nella pallavolo il gruppo è fondamentale, specialmente nei momenti difficili, perché i singoli non fanno la differenza. Certo se avessi vinto singolarmente tutto quello che ho vinto a livello di Club, ora sarei un eroe nazionale”.
V come volley. “Mio papà è stato pallavolista di serie A ma non mi ha imposto niente, è nato tutto per caso. Avevo praticato ginnastica artistica e nuoto, ma non mi piacevano gli sport singoli, così attorno ai 10-11 anni un allenatore della palestra vicina a casa mi aveva visto abbastanza alta e ho provato. L’amore è scoppiato subito: dopo solo un mese ero già nella selezione del Giovolley”.
X come segreto “x”. “Ho tre tatuaggi senza un significato particolare, ma io e Simone abbiamo fatto una promessa: se avremo bambini ci faremo un tatuaggio per ogni nostro figlio, col loro nome o l’iniziale”.
Z come “Zeru tituli”. “Non esiste un Mourinho nella pallavolo e credo che nessuno farà mai simili uscite. C’è un po’ di rivalità tra le tifoserie – conclude la Ferretti – fino a qualche anno fa era Pesaro-Jesi per via del derby, ora con Bergamo perché sono quasi sempre le nostre principali antagoniste”.
