There are two controversial decisions.

1.  Japan gets main court, while other teams except top 4 get side court.  It is very normal and I think it is widely acceptable.  Nothing to complain.  To complain it, it shows narrow mind.  
2.  Final before Japan's last game.  It is a joke.  However if you host a tournament and want to make money, it is the most logic thing to do.  If you want to complain, it is the the rule and contract between FIVB and Japan.  Smart people take advantage of stupid people.  That is it.

It is one thing to hate or dislike Japan.  But we can't let our hatred blind our eyes.  I would be very careful to say some genereal comments like Japanese is ....

BTW, you never comment on my comparison between WC of women vollegball and OG swimming/gym.  If we leave money out, it is more like japanese kiss their own ass and someone kiss american's big fat ass.  Just a joke.

P.S.  I am in a country of speech freedom and I have a healthy self esteem.  Those four words probably work for you better.

A.  I didn't say smart people should take advantage of the stupid"  Check my post.  Don't put your word in my mouth.  As to "smart people take advantage of stupid people",  it is probably a fact.  You like it, or not.

B.  I don't know what exact masochist is.  My dictionary doesn't have this word.  Can you put it in Chinese.

C.  I believe "shut up" and "suck it up" is what people who have self-confidence and self-esteem will do in bad situation.  It is what Coach Yuan and his players did in 1977.  I am confident it will be what current players and their coach, be it coach chen or someone else, will do.  Otherise we will end up playing in main court and waving yellow scarf again.  

D.  As to my self-esteem, you can laugh.  I don't need to laugh anyone to make myself feel better.

E.  I am not japanese or taiwainese.  I am just a chinese who doesn't share the same opinion with some of you.  My education paid chinese tax payer and my parents doesn't allow me to resort to personal attack in any argument.  If you want to comments on facts, we can keep discussing.  Otherwise I have something better to do.

P.S.  Ibmt22.  I guess people attract and are attracted to peole who share similiar opinions and lifestyle.  If I were you, I would first ask myself why I met so many WS people in the first place.  I sometimes feel sorry for parents whoes child can't make to top schools in china, nor can make to a decent school in us.  At the end they have to pay big bucks to send their kids to Europe.  I can imagine sometimes at night they ask themselves why they didn't use Trojan 18, or 20 years ago.

以任何一项国际顶级赛事时间安排标准，任何人对日本排泄安排的不合理性提出质疑，是有完全理据的。

东道主在规则和国际顶级赛事惯例的允许范围之内，将赛事的安排尽量有利于主队，也可以理解。问题恰恰在于，日本排泄如此安排是否符合国际顶级赛事对“决赛”决出冠亚季军的惯例？

我们无需追究国际排联在此安排上所起的作用，因为国际排联的规则不会在道德上对东道主提出要求。

只要我们查看一下三大赛创设以来有没有任何东道主（日本除外）作过如此安排，就知道日本排泄无论以何种理由做出此种安排，其合理性乃至其道德性，都应当受到质疑，甚至否定。这叫做有是非观，与是否narrow-minded无关。更何况，什么构成narrow-minded，由不得某人的标准。在我眼里，抛开是非，以偏离国际普遍接受的惯例的日本排泄的行为为normal，才真是out-of-mind，是brainless。

某人强词夺理，叫人shut up，扯什么smart people take advantage of stupid people的蛋，难道尊重代表一项国际赛事最高水平的前三名决赛，很stupid么？难道用金钱来购买自己从事失德行为的权利，很smart么？

把多项目的奥运会中游泳和体操比赛安排在早上，符合1984奥运会商业化以来的惯例，更是国际奥委会的要求，而非东道主为主队制造伪决赛光环，以吸引本国观众的主动行为。这和日本排泄把冠亚季“决”赛安排在“五六七八”排位赛之前，性质毫不相同。对此，某人不知道是真不理解，还是装糊涂。

某人的言论自由，别人自然无权干涉。

但尊重某人的言论自由，并不代表对某人混乱的逻辑和失去良知的人格，放弃批判的权利。

国际奥委会今天宣布，为了适应美国电视网全国公司NBC的需求，2008年北京奥运会游泳决赛和大部分体操比赛将在北京时间上午举行。

关于２００８年北京奥运会游泳及体操项目决赛时间的博弈终于有了定论。国际奥委会北京奥运会协调委员会主席维尔布鲁根２６日证实，２００８年奥运会所有游泳项目及部分体操项目的决赛都将在北京时间上午进行。

维尔布鲁根是在当日协调委员会举行的新闻发布会上透露这一消息的。

据维尔布鲁根介绍，除游泳外，体操的男、女团体及男、女个人全能四个项目的决赛也将在北京时间上午举行，而体操个人单项的决赛及花样游泳、跳水和水球的决赛仍将在北京时间下午或晚上举行。

此外，国际奥委会新闻发言人罗伯特还向新华社记者证实，男子篮球决赛将在北京时间下午举行。

维尔布鲁根说：“在经过全面细致的研究后，国际奥委会执委会已经敲定了北京奥运会的竞赛日程。”

往届奥运会，游泳和体操决赛通常都在晚上进行。但２００８年奥运会北美地区的独家电视转播商美国全国广播公司（ＮＢＣ）在今年年初向国际奥委会提出将游泳和体操项目的决赛由晚上改在上午进行，理由是北京与美国有十多个小时的时差，若比赛在北京时间晚上进行将会影响到美国的收视率。但这项提议遭到了部分运动员及澳大利亚方面的强烈抗议，国际奥委会也因此一再推迟作出决定。

维尔布鲁根强调说，国际奥委会作出上述决定并非只考虑了电视转播商的利益，而是在与多方协调磋商后的结果。他说：“国际奥委会从来不会擅自做决定。我们就竞赛日程与主办城市、国际单项体育联合会及转播商等都进行了多次协商。这个方案是多方妥协后的结果。”

据了解，奥运会游泳决赛在上午举行此前有过先例。１９８８年汉城奥运会时游泳等项目决赛就是在上午进行的。
