First of all I have to congratulate my team because I think that today they played a perfect match against one of the strongest teams in the world that we respect very much. We have played a very good match in defence, and they paid good attention to not making mistakes. We have taken another important step to qualifying for Peking. Lo Bianco, with Fofao, is the best setter in the world, and we are fortunate to have a good second setter (Ferretti), who played a very good match helped a lot by her players.

首先我要说，我的队员今天在面对世界上顶尖球队之一的巴西队时打出了一场完美的比赛，我要祝贺她们。我们在防守方面做的非常好，并且集中精神避免失误。我们向进军北京迈出了重要的一步。洛·比杨科和佛法奥是世界上最好的二传，非常幸运的是我们还有非常优秀的替补二传（费来缇），今天她在队友的带领下出色地完成了比赛任务。

I am very satisfied. Brazil is a strong team and there were some difficult situations. We played better than we have in other games so far, especially in defence. Ferretti played in place of me and I want to thank her and congratulate her and the other players. I did not play because I had a small back problem.

我非常满意，巴西非常强大，比赛中我们也遇到了一些困难的状况。我们今天比之前的任何一场发挥都出色，特别是在防守上。费莱缔今天顶替我出战，我非常感谢她并且祝贺她和其他队友。我这两天背部有些不适所以没有上场。

It is very difficult for me to say anything after such a bad match. I feel ashamed. I have never seen such bad play as today. It is true that Italy played very well, but our performance was so bad. I want to apologise to the people who watched this game.

Captain Fofao: 浮法奥
I have to admit that our performance was one of the worst in this series. Throughout the match the pace was set by the Italian team. They produced a very stable performance and played their own game. We could not display half of what we have.

我们今天的发挥达到了最低点，意大利今天发挥非常稳定，始终掌握着比赛的节奏。我们连一半的水准都没能发挥出来。
