We knew before the game it would be very difficult and very tough, and we must play especially in defence the same as the American team if we wanted to win tonight. The most important reason we won was our motivation was at a high, high level tonight.

赛前我们就知道今天的比赛会非常困难及艰苦，如果我们要赢得比赛就必须要在拦防上有突出表现。而赢得比赛的关键是兴奋，我们今天始终保持极高的兴奋状态。


Captain Vesna Citakovic: 队长维斯娜·齐塔科维齐
It was a very big game for us and both teams were fighting until the end. I think the supporters enjoyed this volleyball and today we played a little bit better than the America team. We tried to play aggressively in serve, block and defence, and I think we deserved this victory.

今天是我们非常关键的一场比赛，双方都力拼到了最后一刻。我想球迷今天一定非常享受这场比赛，我们今天稍稍比美国打得好一些。我们力求在发球、拦网和防守方面有突出的表现，我想我们的表现值得赢取今天的胜利。

Serbia played a very tough match. I think we had a little bit of a problem with our side attacks against the blocking. The players worked very hard and we will concentrate for the next game. I think the last three matches are all very tough, so we have to concentrate on our side of the job, play better and in the difficult moments play very calm and control the tempo. The game can go either way because they are all good teams.

赛队今天打得很顽强，我们今天在2、4号位的进攻面对对方的拦网出了一些问题，队员们打得很努力。我们要集中精力准备下一场比赛了。最后三场比赛非常艰难，我们必须做好自己这方面的准备，力求打得出色、困难时刻保持冷静并始终控制好节奏。每场比赛的双方都非常出色所以都有取胜的可能。

Serbia played a very good match, but for us we were not focused. Our passing was a little off. We will take whatever we can and move on for the next game.
